I'm Colleen MacKinnon, I recycle wool fabrics for stitching into vintage and antique style penny rugs or mats. Sometimes I over dye my wool, making those pieces truly unique. I write and sell patterns of my own and I write patterns for my dear friend Cee Rafuse. I also love to teach and share techniques from my interest and years of acquired experiences in textiles and home decor.

My penny kits are really great "take along" projects. Request real wool pennies from me. I will custom cut them for you. Check back often for new offerings. I collect and full my own wool. My collection of vintage, reclaimed, and new wool is 80% wool fibre or greater. (My pennies and projects are not cut from manufactured wool felt.)

4 out of 5 starsThe only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that this item should not use the word 'kit' in the description, it is a pattern! That said, I am very much looking forward to making it up.
